"Never in a million years would we have thought our little hobby would explode into a thriving business..."

We have always shared a mutual passion for accessorizing and creating custom looks from different pieces of jewelry. Mixing and matching different colors, textures, and materials definitely sparks joy. So when the Pandemic started, we used our time in quarantine to experiment and make our own custom bracelets at home. Soon, our family and friends begged us to create designs for them too... and their friends and family... and their friends and family... and so on. Within a matter of months, we had a website, Etsy shop, social media pages, and customers from all over the world.

Recently, we have expanded our shop to include necklaces, earrings, rings, and more so that our customers can create full, cohesive looks - all with the same quality of materials. Additionally, we have been working hard to curate even more Bouje Beads collections for any occasion.

Never in a million years would we have thought our little hobby would explode into a thriving business, but we are thrilled that you all love Boujee Beads as much as we do.

"There is never a dull moment."

We were both born and raised in Bryan, TX and are proud members of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie c/o 2013! We met freshman year of high school and have been pretty much inseparable ever since.

We are the same person in many ways and often get made fun of by our close friends for accidentally (or is it on purpose?) matching. We can’t get made fun of for matching bracelets anymore, because..well..business! We share the same love for things including family, *bracelets*, food, karaoke, routines/traditions (you’ll find us at Wings n More every Saturday for lunch), and a good sense of humor. We’re also both terrible at math.

As much as we’re the same, we’re total opposites in some aspects. Alexie is an early bird and sets an alarm for 4:30am most days to make bracelets, and Amanda is a night owl and would rather make bracelets until 1am. Okay, maybe we’re only different in one aspect.

We were lucky enough to work together throughout high school and part of college, and ended up getting separated from each other because we were having too much fun at work. Now we get to talk and laugh all we want while “working”. There’s honestly never a dull moment!

We’ve always loved accessorizing with bracelet stacks, and it’s been so much fun making our own. What started out as us just experimenting and making our own bracelets quickly led to our family and friends wanting some of their own. Now we spend a lot of our free time fulfilling orders and coming up with new ideas! We are so excited that this has taken off, as we truly enjoy this “work” and can’t wait to see where it leads!

Thank you so much for following along and supporting our little business! ❤️
